I really enjoyed this “lamecast” because it is fast paced and relevant. It has a sense of humor too (the sega vision part… rofl), but not too much clowning around. It made sense to me; I knew about most everything they discussed even though I am not the most extreme gamer of all time, and their opinions added something new to my view.

Is there going to be an RSS feed for subscribing? I haven’t listened yet but if there were a feed, it’d be easy to sign up and get new episodes as they come out

As far as I can tell it won’t even play in this window and you need to download or open it in a new window. In other words, there should be a feed soon but I’m still working with the web guy to fix some things.

Edit:

And I fixed it not playing on the page. Now all we need is a spiffy logo and it’ll be the crowning achievement of humanity.

hey guys, excellent stuff! I totally agree with StillwaterBalm here; I have trouble with a lot of these types of podcasts because they are ridiculously long and go off on all sort of tangents that I often don’t care about, but this was interesting, engaging and fully focused on actual games. Way to go!

p.s. some of the sound effects (especially the opening sequence) were a little jarring to the ear, perhaps the volume just needs to be toned down a little on those.

Max,
Thanks for the reply! I’ll try to mix the volumes down a bit going forward. We’re gamers, not sound engineers, so it is a bit rough at the moment. We are working on really getting the sound to work, though, so I am sure you’ll see improvements as we go.
